The match between Ljungskile SK Women's Football and IK Frisco at Skarsjövallen had a tension that kept the 68 spectators on the edge of their seats.
Already in the third minute, we saw a substitution on Ljungskile's side, with Felicia Hallberg replacing Alice Jensen. However, it was not until the 35th minute that we saw the first goal of the match, when Julia Jonasson scored 1-0 for the home team. Just two minutes later, Wilma Wester extended the lead to 2-0 with a great goal.
At halftime, both Ljungskile and Frisco made a substitution, with Frida Lund coming on for Ljungskile and Lea Häggsjö coming on for Frisco.
In the 77th minute, however, IK Frisco managed to reduce the deficit through Alexandra Brodén, who got the ball into the net to make it 2-1. Despite increased pressure from the visitors, Ljungskile managed to hold on and secure the victory.
In the 88th minute, Ljungskile made another substitution, with Emma Ringmark coming on instead of goal scorer Wilma Wester. The match ended 2-1 in favor of Ljungskile, which means they now sit in third place in the table, while IK Frisco is in eighth place.
