The match started at Västhagen IP in front of an audience of 150 spectators. Referee Ozan Camlibel kicked off the match between Selånger FK and Vasalunds IF in Division 1 Norra.

It didn't take long for Vasalunds IF to take the lead through Lamine Nekrouf in the 37th minute. Selånger FK tried to respond but struggled to create dangerous chances. Instead, they received a yellow card in the 45th minute through Daniel Andersson.

At halftime, with the score 0-1 in favor of Vasalunds IF, Selånger FK made a substitution and attempted to get back into the match. However, it was Vasalunds IF that extended their lead to 2-0 with a goal from Lamine Nekrouf in the 75th minute.

Selånger FK battled on and managed to reduce the score to 1-2 through Dennis Sjölén in the 70th minute. But Vasalunds IF increased their lead once again with a goal from Cafer Dincer in the 87th minute.
