Dalkurd FF continues to lead Division 1 Norra after defeating the home team IK Brage at Borlänge Energi Arena with a score of 4-1 in front of a crowd of 2,710 on Monday evening.
Dalkurd opened the scoring in the fifth minute through Ahmed Awad. Ten minutes later, IK Brage's Heidar Geir Juliusson came close to equalizing, but his shot was saved by Dalkurd's goalkeeper. Instead, Alexander Ekblad increased the visitors' lead to 2-0 in the 29th minute.
IK Brage did not give up and managed to reduce the deficit to 2-1 through Peter Magnusson in the 33rd minute. The second half was evenly matched, with both teams creating chances, but it was Dalkurd who sealed the match with Mattias Mete scoring two quick goals in the 74th and 89th minutes.
The match referee, Farouk Nehdi, issued two yellow cards, one to Heidar Geir Juliusson of IK Brage and one to Mattias Mete of Dalkurd FF.
