IK Brage had strong control of the game in the first half, but Assyriska FF managed to take the lead through Love Reuterswärd in the 24th minute. However, IK Brage continued to fight, and in the 43rd minute, Erik Nilsson equalized to 1-1 at Borlänge Energi Arena in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 1,355 spectators.

The second half began strongly for IK Brage, and just two minutes in, Johan Eklund scored a beautiful header that gave the team a 2-1 lead. IK Brage continued to dominate the match, and in the 67th minute, Gustav Sundström extended the lead to 3-1 with another header.

Assyriska FF fought to get back into the match, but when Anton Lundin scored for IK Brage in the 71st minute, the match was practically decided with a 4-1 lead. However, Assyriska FF managed to reduce the score to 4-2 through Sebastian Holmquist in the 75th minute.

IK Brage finished the match strongly and held off Assyriska FF's attacks. The final score was recorded as 4-2, and the Borlänge club was able to delight their home supporters with three points in the bag.
