In the 70th minute, Matheus Garcia Fernandes scored a header for FC Linköping City, reducing the score to 3-1. However, it would prove too late for the team to mount a comeback.
Akropolis IF held on until the final whistle and was able to celebrate an important victory. Jens Jakobsson, Mohamed Bangura, and Fredrik Hammar were substituted in later in the match to strengthen the team. Shkelqim Pacolli was substituted for Dieu Le Veut Ntumbudi, and Marcus Ytter was substituted for Mohamad Suleiman for FC Linköping City.
Nael Ghazi Shabo was the referee, with Andreas Jansson and Jonas Jonsson as assistant referees. Marcus Enström and Henrik Larsvik received warning cards during the match for Akropolis IF and FC Linköping City, respectively. Jens Jakobsson also received a warning in the 90th minute for Akropolis IF.
