It was an exciting match between Krokom/Dvärsätt IF and Tierps IF at Hissmovallen this Saturday afternoon. The match started evenly, and it wasn't until the 21st minute that Tierps IF took the lead through Carrie Dail.
However, Krokom/Dvärsätt IF responded quickly with two rapid goals, first from Pernilla Arvidsson in the 28th minute and then from Angelica Häreby in the 33rd minute. The team had taken the lead, and the crowd at Hissmovallen erupted in cheers.
Tierps IF did not back down and equalized early in the second half through Emily Dowd in the 48th minute. After that, it was Tierps IF who took control of the match, and Amanda Bruksås scored to make it 2-3 in the 55th minute.
Emily Dowd then sealed the deal with her second goal of the day in the 66th minute, and Tierps IF ultimately won 2-4. The match became very intense towards the end, and Krokom/Dvärsätt IF suffered a red card when Melisa Krnjaic was sent off in the 86th minute.
Despite the loss, Krokom/Dvärsätt IF showed a fighting spirit and worked hard forward until the final whistle. However, Tierps IF managed to hold on and took home three points to Tierp.
Hissmovallen was packed with 45 spectators, and referee Robin Albertsson had full control of the match with his assistant referees Kent Carlsson and Andreas Olsson. After the match, Krokom/Dvärsätt IF is in 6th place in the standings, while Tierps IF climbed up to 3rd place. An exciting match from which both teams can learn before their next match.
