It was a sunny Sunday afternoon when Täby FK faced Ope IF at Tibblevallen in front of an audience of 70 people. Referee Cecilia Ekwall took charge of the match with assistance from Radisa Simic and Nicklas Lund.
Already in the third minute, Ope IF received a red card when Lina Lindman was sent off. Despite this, it was Ope who took the lead through Lisa Landin in the 22nd minute. But Täby FK quickly bounced back and equalized with a goal from Sofia Ek in the 27th minute.
Petra Sundqvist then gave Täby the lead in the 34th minute, but Ope responded immediately with Lena Lindström scoring to make it 2-2 in the 43rd minute.
In the second half, Täby continued to dominate, with Julia Andersson putting them ahead 3-2 in the 53rd minute, followed by two more goals from Sofia Ek and Julia Norén. Ope made a substitution and tried to mount a comeback, but Täby was stronger on this day.
Elin Almström and Rebecca Rolin each scored for Täby, and when the final whistle blew, the score was 7-2 in favor of Täby FK. A strong victory that places them in second place in the league, while Ope IF unfortunately remains at the bottom of the standings.
