It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Selånger IP when Selånger FK hosted Ornäs BK in an exciting match in Division 1 Norra Svealand for women. Despite the sparse crowd in the stands, the teams delivered an entertaining and goal-filled match.

Already in the sixth minute, Selånger opened the scoring through Olivia Wänglund, who then added her second in the 30th minute. Philippa Johansson increased the lead to 2-0 in the 20th minute, and the team went into halftime with a comfortable 3-0 lead.

In the second half, Selånger continued to dominate the match. Celina Berglund extended the lead to 4-0 in the 60th minute, followed by a goal from Linn Jonsson in the 62nd minute. Flaurona Rexhaj and Jennifer Larsson each scored in the 78th minute, before Larsson also sealed the final score at 7-0 in the 80th minute.

The match ended on a disappointing note when Ornäs BK’s Joanna Snell received her second yellow card and thus also a red card in the 78th minute.

Referee Hanna Laajanen maintained control over the match and issued warnings where necessary. Despite Selånger FK's significant victory, Ornäs BK displayed a fighting spirit but struggled to break through Selånger's defense during the match. After the final whistle, the home team was able to celebrate an impressive 7-0 win and three important points in the league.
