On Saturday afternoon, an exciting match took place at the Jernvallen VM Arena in Division 1 Norra Svealand for women, between Sandvikens IF and Gefle IF FF, in front of an audience of 1,006 people. The referee for the match was Christer Sterner, with assistant referees Mattias Furbo and Jarl Tedenby.
The match began with some tension, and it was Gefle IF FF who received the first warning after 18 minutes. But just a minute later, Sandvikens IF took the lead through Demi Pierre. In the 36th minute, Sandvikens IF made a substitution, bringing Vilde Bång-Øygard in for Demi Pierre. Just a couple of minutes later, Wilma Näslund scored, and Sandvikens IF extended their lead to 2-0.
Towards the end of the first half, Gefle IF FF had a chance and took it when Josefine Blom scored just before halftime, reducing the score to 2-1.
In the second half, Gabrielle Wågström received a warning for Gefle IF FF after 52 minutes, and the team made a substitution a few minutes later, bringing Lina Bälin in for Clara Engstrand.
In the 75th minute, Gloria Douglas scored for Sandvikens IF, increasing their lead to 3-1. At the same time, Sandvikens IF made a substitution, with Nellie Johansson replacing Maria Danielzon Larsson. A couple of minutes later, Gefle IF FF made two substitutions, bringing Wilma Ullström and Jessica Westrin in for Kajsa Erihn and Mathilda Henriksson. Sandvikens IF made their final substitution in the 86th minute, with Jennica Modin coming on for Hayley Dowd.
With just five minutes left in the match, Sandvikens IF scored another goal, this time through Vilde Bång-Øygard, increasing their lead to 4-1. Gefle IF FF made their last substitution in the 89th minute, bringing Ebba Gavlén in for Elin Bälin.
When the referee blew the final whistle, it was clear that Sandvikens IF had won 4-1 and now sits in second place in the table, while Gefle IF FF remains in fourth place.
