In the fourth round of Division 1 Norra Svealand for women, Hille IF faced Gamla Upsala SK at Hille IP on Saturday afternoon. Despite the empty stands, it turned out to be a goal-rich event with five goals from the away team and a missed penalty during the match.
The match started evenly, but at the 29th minute, cheers could be heard among the away supporters who had chosen to attend the match in person when Gamla Upsala SK took the lead. The goal was scored by Julia Wänglund, and just three minutes later, the team extended their lead when Sanna Öhlund headed in a corner.
After half an hour, Julia Wänglund had scored her second goal of the match, and it wasn't long before Hanna Sjöström also got on the scoresheet, making it 0-4 right before the referee blew for halftime.
When the teams returned for the second half, Gamla Upsala SK made a substitution, with Paulina Löf replacing Sofia Fors. Hille IF, on the other hand, substituted Lova Johansson for Malin Eriksson.
In the second half, Gamla Upsala SK had the opportunity to increase their lead when they were awarded a penalty. Camilla Erkisi Saeid stepped up to take it, but Hille IF's goalkeeper managed to save it, keeping the score at 0-4. Shortly after, however, Erkisi Saeid got another chance at a penalty, and this time it went wide of the goal.
In the 58th minute, Gamla Upsala SK decided to substitute Julia Wänglund for Hannah Lichtenstein, and just a few minutes later, Hille IF made a substitution with Elin Ölund Svensson replacing Linda Persson.
With just under 20 minutes left in the match, Gamla Upsala SK brought in Linn Jansson along with two unfamiliar players to replace Josefine Stomberg and Josefin Jarstad. Hille IF's Hanna Adams-Roos came in for Cecilia Klar.
With five minutes left in the match, Sanna Öhlund scored her second goal, making it 0-5. Hille IF then substituted Sara Hammergård for Elin Normark. Öhlund also managed to complete a hat trick before the match ended, and Gamla Upsala SK celebrated a 6-0 victory away from home.
The referee for the match was Alexander Jidemo, assisted by Natnael Zerezgi and Per Tedenby. The arena was empty as the match was played without an audience.
