Gefle IF FF showed its dominance during Saturday's Division 1 Norra Svealand match against Valbo FF at Åbyvallen. While the home side struggled to avoid last place, Gefle IF FF showed they were serious about securing their place higher up the table.

The match started with relatively even play on the pitch, but it was Gefle who first got the ball into the goal after an impressive performance from Karin Weinacht in the 15th minute, opening up a much-anticipated 0-1 lead.

Valbo FF tried to defend valiantly, but were thrown back when Weinacht scored again in the 49th minute through a penalty kick that hit hard over the goal line.

Gefle IF FF largely controlled the rest of the match convincingly and in the 53rd minute Ninni Lang scored her first goal to put Valbo FF three goals down.

With a crowd of 50, Gefle IF FF saw the victory finally confirmed, and Valbo FF replaced some of their players in a last ditch effort to get some goals on the board. However, it was too late in the afternoon and the match ended 0-3 in Gefle IF FF's favour.
