Täby FK proved to be far too strong for Valbo FF when they faced off at Tibblevallen in a Division 1 Norra Svealand match for women on Saturday afternoon. Täby FK, currently sitting in second place in the league, was clearly on the hunt for a big victory, while Valbo FF, at the bottom of the table, desperately tried to hold their ground.
Täby FK took the lead just three minutes into the game when Mikaela Lavén scored to make it 1-0, and just a few minutes later, Alma Olesen made it 2-0 for Täby FK. Celina Johansson’s goal in the eleventh minute meant that Täby FK began to pull away with a score of 3-0.
Valbo FF attempted to find their way back into the match, but it was Täby FK who dominated, creating chance after chance. At halftime, Täby FK made three substitutions while Valbo FF made one change in an effort to get their game going.
The second half continued in the same style as the first, with Täby FK controlling the game. In the 62nd minute, Celina Johansson scored her second goal of the match, making it 4-0 for Täby FK. A few minutes later, Täby FK made two more substitutions, and Valbo FF also made a change.
Täby FK continued to dominate, and in the 77th minute, Therese Hemland made it 5-0 for Täby FK. Emelie Reyes Orellana and Louise Matsgård also found the net for Täby FK in the 84th and 90th minutes, respectively.
When the referee blew the final whistle, the score stood at 7-0 in favor of Täby FK, who proved to be far too strong for Valbo FF. Täby FK thus continues to fight for a top position in the table, while Valbo FF will have to regroup to try and climb up.
