The match between Rimbo IF and Avesta AIK at Norrtälje Sports Centre Artificial Grass kicked off on Sunday afternoon in front of an audience of zero. Referee Agnes Emborg and her assistant referees Tilde Lind and Rasmus Falk officiated the match between two teams that had different conditions leading up to the game.

Already after eight minutes, Rimbo took the lead through Kajsa Sund, setting the tone for the rest of the match. In the 64th minute, Therese Rizzo doubled Rimbo's lead with a header, and it looked like they were heading for a comfortable victory.

Avesta did not give up, and in the 70th minute, Alva Nyström reduced the score to 2-1, giving them a glimmer of hope for a comeback. However, it was not their day, and in the 83rd minute, Matilda Ullström scored to make it 3-1 for Rimbo, thus securing the victory for the team.

The match concluded with a few substitutions from both teams, but it was Rimbo IF who took home three crucial points and finished the season in eighth place in the standings. Avesta AIK, on the other hand, finished last in the table and will look forward to the next season to try to improve their position.
