Själevads IP was filled with excitement as Själevads IK faced Spöland Vännäs IF in a Division 1 Norrland holiday match on this chilly Tuesday evening. Själevads IK's defenders lost focus early in the match and unfortunately scored an own goal, giving Spöland Vännäs IF the lead just two minutes into the game.
However, Själevads IK did not give up. Moa Eriksson showed why she is one of the team's best players by quickly equalizing in the fourth minute of the match.
The second half continued with an intense battle for the ball. Spöland Vännäs IF made a quick substitution in the 53rd minute, but it was Själevads that showed the most strength and control. They pressed against Spöland Vännäs IF and were rewarded when Moa Eriksson again managed to score from a penalty in the 75th minute.
Själevads IK continued to fight, and their hard work paid off when Veronica Lundholm scored their third goal in the 81st minute. Spöland Vännäs IF made two late substitutions but failed to change the outcome.
Själevads IK won 3-1 in front of an audience of 50 people. The warning issued to Josefine Engvall Ward in the 77th minute was the only controversial moment in the match. Referee Peter Näslund, along with assistant referees Leonard Ziegel and Daniel Hellman, handled the match excellently.
