Krokom/Dvärsätt IF took a convincing victory when they faced Umedalens IF at Hissmovallen in Division 1 Norrland for women. Despite a fast start from both teams, it was the home team that took the lead just six minutes in when Bupe Olufunmilola Okeowo scored.
Just five minutes later, Krokom/Dvärsätt extended their lead through Danielle Au, but Umedalens did not give up and managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Alin Bisping. However, it was Krokom/Dvärsätt that dominated the match, and only a few minutes later, Au scored her second goal of the day, making it 3-1.
In the second half, Krokom/Dvärsätt continued to dominate, and Au completed her hat trick with two more goals. Despite Umedalens' offensive attempts, they were unable to get any closer, and the match ended with a clear 5-1 victory for the home team.
The spectators at Hissmovallen witnessed an entertaining match, and despite some hard tackles, both teams played fairly. Referee Anna-Linnéa Löfgren maintained good control over the match and issued warnings when necessary.
Krokom/Dvärsätt IF showcased skill and efficiency in front of goal and were simply the better team this Saturday afternoon. Umedalens IF will need to regroup and take lessons into their upcoming matches in Division 1 Norrland.
