On a lovely Saturday afternoon at Electrolux Home Arena in Skellefteå, Sunnanå SK played at home against AFC Luleå in Division 1 Norrland for women. With a crowd of just 147 people, it was an intimate but lively atmosphere in the stands. The match referee, the impressive Anastasia Oberlauf Poopuu, along with her assistant referees Elin Lundgren and Anja Collén, were on top of things and kicked off the match precisely at 14:00 as scheduled.

Sunnanå SK, who were in a respectable sixth place before the match, wanted to secure three points to move up in the standings, while AFC Luleå aimed to fight to stay in the league. The match started smoothly, but Sunnanå SK's Frida Stenmark received a yellow card in the nineteenth minute.

As halftime approached, there were no goals. Sunnanå SK substituted Sofia Lindmark for Wilma Vidmark, and the scoreline would look very different after the break.

Early in the second half, AFC Luleå brought on Ellen Östling for Frida Elisabeth Johansson Oja. Just five minutes later, Maria Gonzalez Pont scored to make it 0-1 for AFC Luleå. However, Sunnanå SK did not let themselves be discouraged and substituted Alexandra Nilsson for Emma Burman, and in the 59th minute, Bupe Olufunmilola Okeowo made it 1-1.

In the 65th minute, Okeowo scored her second goal of the match, putting Sunnanå SK ahead 2-1. Maya Pitts extended the lead to 3-1 just five minutes later, prompting AFC Luleå to substitute Ellen Östling for Frida Vikman in hopes of turning the match around. Sunnanå SK substituted Caisa Norlund for Caroline Loman in the 78th minute, and shortly after, in the 79th minute, Maya Pitts scored her second goal of the match, giving Sunnanå SK a 4-1 lead. And just before the final whistle, in the 90th minute, Frida Stenmark scored the goal that definitively concluded the match.
