Domsjö IF faced IF Team Hudik at home on Saturday afternoon in Division 1 Norrland for women. The attendance was modest – only 47 people made their way to Domsjö IP to cheer on their favorites. The referees for the match were Erika Horst as the main referee, assisted by Abdalla Hamid and Per Söderlind.

But it did not seem to help Domsjö IF as IF Team Hudik continued to dominate the game, scoring a header in the 62nd minute through Åslund, increasing the lead to 4-0. Due to the large lead, IF Team Hudik began to make substitutions. The home team Domsjö IF also tried to swap out their players, taking off Johanna Engvall and bringing in Klara Sundell in the 72nd minute, but it did not lead to any significant goals.

IF Team Hudik continued to press and made three substitutions in the 84th minute, taking off Åslund, Anna Johansson, and Sofie Wixner for Amanda Andersson, Maria Norén, and Sarah Giampietro. Domsjö IF also made a change, substituting Olivia Näsström for Thea Gerdin.

But the match was practically over, and Domsjö IF failed to counter the dominant play that IF Team Hudik showcased throughout the game. In the end, the result was 0-4 in favor of IF Team Hudik. It was a tough match for the home team, but one explanation could partly be that IF Team Hudik is one of the top teams in the league.
