It was a sunny Monday evening at Smedby IP when the home team Smedby AIS faced Landsbro IF in Division 1 Östra Götaland for women. The crowd had come to the arena hoping to see an entertaining match, and they would not be disappointed.

Already after six minutes Smedby took the lead through Karin Kling. Landsbro tried to put pressure on their opponents, but it was instead Smedby who extended their lead. In the second half Landsbro reduced the lead through Tilda Linder, but it didn't help much as Shamiram Yakob and Simona Ågren quickly countered with two new goals for Smedby. The match eventually ended 7-1 to the home team.
