The match started intensely, and already in the 25th minute, Asarums IF FK took the lead through Mathilda Nilsson, who put the ball in the net. Before halftime, Gina Toresten extended the lead to 2-0 with a well-placed shot.

At halftime, Karlskrona FF made a substitution, with Amanda Olsson coming on for Evelina Strömberg. This seemed to have an effect as Sofie Persson reduced the score to 1-2 just a few minutes into the second half. However, the joy was short-lived as Lova Hansson once again extended Asarum's lead to 3-1 in the 52nd minute.

Towards the end of the match, Gina Toresten scored her second goal of the day, increasing Asarum's lead to 4-1 in the 81st minute. After that, Asarum made several substitutions to maintain control of the match, and the result held until the final whistle.

Although Karlskrona FF attempted to come back into the match after their goal in the second half, it was Asarum who had the upper hand and ultimately won 4-1. The spectators at Hästö IP witnessed an entertaining match where Asarums IF FK showcased their class and secured three important points in Division 1 Östra Götaland.
