Eskilsminne tried to catch up but struggled to find gaps in Ljungskile's defense. Instead, Ljungskile doubled their lead in the 19th minute through Sandra Bagger.

After the break, Eskilsminne IF continued to press but found it difficult to convert their opportunities. Instead, it was Ljungskile who had several chances to extend their lead.

The match became quite physical, and both Lovisa Pigg from Eskilsminne and Emma Widesjö received yellow cards. Ljungskile's coach Joakim Jensen also received a warning in the 69th minute.
