IS Halmia defeated Halmstads BK in an exciting Division 1 Södra match on Saturday afternoon at Örjans Vall, with an attendance of 1,211 spectators. Erna Huskic officiated the match alongside assistants Lorand Bivolaku and Jerry Larsson.
The match was evenly matched at the start of the first half, but it was IS Halmia who took the lead after 35 minutes through Sofie Rewucha, who found the back of the net. The half ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of IS Halmia.
During the break, IS Halmia made a substitution, bringing Alicia Ibrahim on for Moa Jönsson. The second half saw IS Halmia continuing their strong performance and Sofie Rewucha scored her second goal of the day in the 52nd minute, extending IS Halmia's lead to 2-0.

Halmstads BK also attempted to make substitutions, taking off Lovisa Brogren and Lisa Herrlin for Nellie Brynéus and Elsa Karlsson, but these changes made little difference.
IS Halmia continued to dominate and made two more substitutions where Hanna Karlsson replaced Moa Larsson and Isabella Grundström came on for goalscorer Sofie Rewucha. It was the latter substitution that proved decisive as Isabella Grundström scored to increase IS Halmia's lead to 3-0 in the 86th minute.
The match concluded with a yellow card for Halmstads BK's Izabella Blomqvist, but it did not affect the final result, which was 3-0 in favor of IS Halmia.
