Lödöse Nygård IK got off to a dream start in the match when Ellica Andersson scored just four minutes in. Halmstads BK tried to get back into the game but struggled to create good chances. Instead, it was Lödöse Nygård who extended their lead just before halftime through Matilda Johansson.
