Malmö FF strengthened their lead in the standings after a convincing victory over IS Halmia at Malmö Stadion on Saturday afternoon. The attendance was somewhat low with only 428 spectators, but those who were there witnessed an entertaining match.

Petronella Winblad opened the scoring for Malmö FF in the 24th minute, giving the team an early lead. Anna Plantin scored the second goal in the 50th minute, and by this time, Malmö FF appeared to have taken control of the match.

A couple of minutes after the sixth-minute substitution, Rebecka Holm netted the third goal for Malmö FF in the 71st minute.

Tilde Wahlgren came on as a substitute for Anna Plantin and scored the fourth goal in the 80th minute.

A few minutes later, Magdalena Cruz Aliaga entered the game for IS Halmia, making her Division 1 debut.

Erica Persson Welin extended Malmö FF's lead further with an impressive performance, scoring the fifth goal in the 88th minute. The final score thus ended at 5 - 0.

With this solid victory, Malmö FF solidified their position at the top of Division 1 Södra for women and can continue their pursuit of winning the division and advancing to the Damallsvenskan next season.
