Ljungskile SK women's soccer team lost their home match against visiting Malmö FF with a score of 0-2 at Skarsjövallen in Division 1 Södra for women. Malmö led 0-1 after 20 minutes of play when Anna Welin struck the ball in with the side of her foot after a nice through ball. Ljungskile had no chance as Malmö continued to dominate the match. Just before halftime, the guests increased their lead to 0-2 when Rebecka Holm scored after some excellent setup play.

In the second half, Ljungskile applied some pressure and managed to create a couple of half-chances, but they did not get close to Malmö's goalkeeper. Malmö continued to dominate the marking game and disrupted Ljungskile's defense. Both teams made several substitutions during the match, but the overall dynamics remained the same.

With this victory, Malmö consolidates its lead in the table while Ljungskile must continue to fight to stay in the division. Only 153 spectators attended the match, but those who were there were treated to fine performances from both teams. The referees, Darbaz Hussein, Christer Antonsson, and Abdullah Almayah, managed the match well without major protests from either team.
