It was a sunny Saturday at Trollavallen A-plan when Glimåkra IF hosted Skurups AIF in an exciting match in Division 1 Södra Götaland for women. With no spectators in attendance, it was up to the players to deliver under referee Fredrik Andersson’s management, along with assistant referees Frank Van Beelen and Guram Broy.

Already in the 5th minute, Glimåkra IF took the lead through Erika Martinsson and then extended it to 2-0 in the 19th minute with a goal from Olivia Johansson. Before halftime, Martinsson managed to score her second goal, increasing the lead to 3-0.

However, Skurups AIF did not give up and managed to reduce the deficit through Alexandra Frej in the 51st minute, but Glimåkra IF continued to dominate. Johansson scored her second goal in the 53rd minute, followed by Louise Persson’s goal in the 58th minute.

With the score at 5-1, Glimåkra IF added another goal through Sarah Martinsson from the penalty spot in the 75th minute. The match concluded with a beautiful goal from Josefine Mårtensson in the 88th minute, leading to a convincing 7-1 victory for Glimåkra IF.

Although Skurups AIF fought hard, Glimåkra IF showcased an impressive efficiency in front of goal and secured three points in this Division 1 match. It was a dominant performance that is sure to be remembered at Trollavallen A-plan.
