It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Strandängen IP when IFÖ/Bromölla IF faced the league leaders Växjö DFF in front of a crowd of 120 people. Referee Mirsad Sarhatlic blew the whistle to start the match, and it didn't take long before Växjö DFF took control of the game.
Already in the 19th minute, Mikaela Almgren scored 0-1 for the visiting team, and just one minute later, she extended the lead to 0-2. IFÖ/Bromölla IF struggled to find any rhythm, and Växjö continued to dominate the match.
In the 23rd minute, Erika Elg Viktor made it 0-3 for Växjö, and before halftime, there was a substitution for Växjö where Sofia Johansson came on instead of Ritah Kivumbi.
In the second half, Växjö remained the dominant team, and in the 53rd minute, Erika Elg Viktor scored her third goal of the day, completing a hat-trick and bringing the score to 0-4. In the 62nd minute, Malin Thorén made it 0-5 for Växjö, securing the victory.
IFÖ/Bromölla IF attempted to change the course of the match by making two substitutions in the 67th minute and a double substitution in the 80th minute, but it wasn't enough to threaten the league leaders Växjö DFF.
