It was a sunny Saturday afternoon when Eskilsminne DIF and IFÖ/Bromölla IF faced off at Västergårds IP 1 in an exciting match in Division 1 Södra Götaland for women. Despite the lack of spectators, it was an intense match where Eskilsminne DIF took the lead as early as the 26th minute with a beautiful goal from Julia Nyberg Spets.
Eskilsminne DIF continued to dominate the match, increasing their lead to 2-0 in the 56th minute with an impressive goal from Linn Strömberg. In the 68th minute, the team extended their lead to 3-0 with a goal from Linnéa Tapper.
IFÖ/Bromölla IF did not give up and managed to reduce the deficit to 3-1 in the 74th minute when Nadja Andersson found the back of the net. However, Eskilsminne DIF quickly responded and once again increased their lead to 4-1 with a lovely goal from Linnéa Rundqvist in the 75th minute.
The match concluded with an unfortunate yellow card for IFÖ/Bromölla IF's Nadja Andersson in the 87th minute. Eskilsminne DIF emerged victorious with a score of 4-1, maintaining their seventh place in the table while IFÖ/Bromölla IF continued to sit second to last.
