It was an exciting match played between IS Halmia and Södra Sandby IF in Division 1 Södra Götaland for women at Halmstad Arena P1 on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, the match was not attended by any spectators, but referee Joel Ronander and his assistant referees Slavisa Stijepic and Ivan Contos were there to ensure that everything went correctly.

IS Halmia entered the match in second place in the standings, while Södra Sandby IF was last. Time passed and it wasn't until the 17th minute that IS Halmia struck and scored thanks to Matilda Olsson. However, Södra Sandby IF was not ready to give up yet, and ten minutes later, Isabella Nilsson equalized for the team.

After a draw in the first half, IS Halmia decided to make some substitutions during the halftime break. Fanny Ronnstam, Emmy Zetterberg, and Moa Jönsson replaced Hanna Comnell, Lina Eriksson, and Gresa Berisha. Södra Sandby IF also chose to make two substitutions, with Linnéa Höst and Sofia Adler coming on for Inez Antmar and Emma Gustafsson.

It wasn't until the 76th minute that Alva Hed from IS Halmia received a warning, but that did not stop the team from continuing to fight. With only twelve minutes left in the match, Matilda Olsson struck again, scoring her second goal of the day and putting IS Halmia in the lead. Olsson was clearly having a great day and scored her third goal of the day from a penalty in the 81st minute.

The match concluded with two substitutions from IS Halmia - Marika Forai and Jekatarina Folkblom came on for Nellie Andersson and Evelina Persson - and the final score was 3-1 in favor of IS Halmia. Södra Sandby IF thus faced their last defeat and finished at the bottom of the standings, while IS Halmia ended the season in a solid second place.
