Trelleborgs FF welcomed Växjö DFF Akademi at home on Saturday afternoon. Trelleborgs FF, who were in seventh place in the standings, were the favorites going into the match against the bottom team Växjö DFF Akademi.
The match started evenly with few scoring chances from both teams. In the 43rd minute, Växjö DFF Akademi's Frida Boriero received a yellow card from referee Amane Kandas. The halftime score remained 0-0, but Trelleborgs FF made three substitutions at halftime while Växjö DFF Akademi made only one substitution.
