Already in the third minute, Elina Lenir scored 1-0 for Trelleborgs FF, and Matilda Liljefors extended the lead to 2-0 in the 19th minute. Hammenhögs IF attempted to fight their way back into the match with a substitution, where Julia Mellberg replaced Sara Strömberg.

Although Trelleborgs FF pulled ahead with another goal by Elina Lenir in the 65th minute, Hammenhögs IF did not give up, and Julia Mellberg's goal in the 66th minute gave hope for a possible comeback.

However, Trelleborgs FF showed their strength, and Elisa Lang Nilsson scored a penalty to increase the lead to 4-1 in the 86th minute. Despite a late substitution and bookings for both teams, Trelleborgs FF held on and secured three important points.
