Åhus IF faced a tough challenge when they hosted Ifö Bromölla IF at home on Åhus IP A-field, in front of an audience of 50 people. Åhus IF had not yet won a match in this year's league, while Ifö Bromölla IF was in fourth place in the standings.

The match kicked off, and it was Ifö Bromölla IF that took control right away. Already after eight minutes, Lova Hansson scored her sixth goal of the season from a free kick, giving the visitors the lead. This was followed by a second goal from Jindra van Reeden in the 25th minute, then Hansson scored again in the 35th minute, and Desirée Liindanen added another goal in the 38th minute. Olivia Johansson then gave Ifö Bromölla IF a significant 5-0 lead right before the end of the first half.

Åhus IF substituted Bea Tornberg and Alice Lingstedt in the 56th minute to try to change the course of the match, but it was instead Ifö Bromölla IF that continued to dominate. Hansson completed her hat trick with her third goal in the 57th minute, followed by van Reeden's second goal in the 60th minute. In the same minute, Ifö Bromölla IF substituted Ebba Håkansson for Maja Järvensivu.

Ida Strand was substituted in for Emma Nordahl in the 63rd minute for the visitors before Hansson scored her fourth goal of the match, this time from a free kick in the 71st minute. Åhus IF desperately tried to score a consolation goal, but it was instead Ebba Järvensivu who scored the final goal of the match in the 87th minute, resulting in a 9-0 victory for Ifö Bromölla IF.
