It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Västergårds IP when Eskilsminne IF hosted Emmaboda IS in an exciting match in Division 1 Södra Götaland for women. With a crowd of 55 spectators in the stands, both teams gave their best to secure the victory.

In the second half, Eskilsminne continued to dominate and increased their lead. Emma Widesjö scored two goals, extending Eskilsminne's lead to 3-0. However, Emmaboda did not give up and reduced the deficit through Alice Stensson in the 58th minute.

Emmaboda tried to catch up, and Emelie Zakrisson also managed to score, bringing the score to 4-2. But Eskilsminne kept their cool, and in the final minutes, Ellen Pigg scored the team’s fifth goal.

When the referee blew the final whistle, it was clear that Eskilsminne IF had won 5-2 against Emmaboda IS. A well-deserved victory for Eskilsminne, who showcased strong play throughout the match.
