It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Västergårds IP 5 when Eskilsminne IF hosted Färjestadens GOIF in Division 1 Södra Götaland for women. The attendance was 102 people and referee Merfin Batic had full control over the match, assisted by Vatan Gashi and Max Stålhammar.

The match started intensely and already in the 8th minute, Vendela Karlsson from Färjestaden received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Eskilsminne made their first substitution, bringing in Jasmine Hansen for Ellen Pigg. Just a minute later, Alma Bertilsson scored to make it 1-0 for Eskilsminne, giving them the lead. Johanna Olsson then extended the lead to 2-0 in the 34th minute.

It wasn't long before Agnes Nilsson scored the third goal for Eskilsminne in the 62nd minute, and the team had a firm grip on the match. Despite some yellow cards issued to both teams, Eskilsminne continued to dominate, and in the 78th minute, Johanna Olsson scored her second goal, extending the lead to 4-0.

Eskilsminne made several substitutions in the latter part of the match, while Färjestaden tried to find a way back into the game with their own substitutions. But Eskilsminne held firm and ultimately secured a convincing victory of 4-0 at home. A vital win for Eskilsminne as they continue to fight at the top of Division 1 Södra Götaland for women.
