IK Sleipner achieved an important home victory when they defeated IF Sylvia 3-1 at Platinumcars Arena in Division 1 South for men. The match started intensely, and just 10 minutes in, IK Sleipner took the lead through Niklas Moberg. IF Sylvia fought to come back, but IK Sleipner held strong in the first half.

Andreas Haglund then scored for the home team in the 26th minute, and things looked bleak for IF Sylvia. At halftime, the guests brought in Linus Rikardsson in hopes of making a comeback. They managed to reduce the deficit just two minutes into the second half with a goal from Tomas Enrique Petry.
