Allan Borgvardt was first to the ball and managed to shoot it past the home team’s goalkeeper.
IF Sylvia continued to dominate the match, and Tomas Enrique Petry extended the lead to 0-2 after 29 minutes of play. Just a minute later, Borgvardt scored his second goal of the evening, and IF Sylvia went into halftime with a comfortable 3-0 lead.
The second half looked like a repetition of the first as IF Sylvia continued to apply pressure. IK Sleipner tried to get back into the match, but their efforts were in vain. Instead, they received two yellow cards as Peter Skoog and Alexander Radesjö both broke the rules.
With only twelve minutes left on the clock, Petry increased IF Sylvia's lead to 4-0, and just two minutes later, he was there again, this time to complete his hat trick and set the final score at 5-0 for IF Sylvia.
With this significant victory, IF Sylvia was able to climb up the table, while IK Sleipner had to settle for their second place. Referee Mohammed Al-Hakim kept a tight control over the match, while assistant referees Albert Andersson and Magnus Larsson also performed unsatisfactorily.
