Örgryte IS had a really good day at work as they hosted IK Oddevold at Gamla Ullevi in front of 1,268 spectators on a Saturday afternoon in June. Already after 10 minutes, the home team took the lead with a penalty successfully converted by Christofer Bengtsson. Just two minutes later, David Leinar made it 2-0 after a nice pass from Nicolas Sandberg.

IK Oddevold tried to get back into the match and received a warning when Kim Karlsson was shown a yellow card after 13 minutes. However, Örgryte continued to press, and Sandberg scored 3-0 after 29 minutes. Just ten minutes later, he increased the lead to 4-0 after rounding Oddevold's goalkeeper.

IK Oddevold attempted to recover and reduced the score to 4-1 with a nice ball from Ibrahim Tahini after 55 minutes. But that was about all for the visiting team, as they watched the home team score two more goals through Jakob Olsson, who netted both 5-1 and 6-1.

The match also saw some substitutions, with Ludvig Brisby Jeppsson and Mikael Odin coming on for Örgryte IS, while Jesper Carlzon and Henrik Nikkilä were substituted in for IK Oddevold. Oddevold's Ibrahim Tahini was also substituted alongside Marcus Broberg.

There were a few warnings during the match, with Mikael Odin receiving one for the home side, while Angelo Vega Rodriguez and Eirik Dybendal were warned for IK Oddevold.
