Örgryte IS won Sunday’s match against Norrby IF with a score of 3-1 at Gamla Ullevi in Division 1 Södra. Örgryte’s Filip Holländer opened the scoring in the sixth minute after a nice pass from Sebastian Johansson. Norrby IF tried to find an equalizer but instead received a warning after just over half an hour through Mergim Krasniqi.

In the second half, Örgryte IS extended their lead further with a goal from David Leinar in the 59th minute. Norrby IF worked hard to close the gap, but it just wasn’t happening, and Hekuran Sahara had to leave the pitch after receiving a yellow card. Instead, Emilio Rossi came onto the field in search of a goal.

With just over twenty minutes left in the match, both Örgryte IS and Norrby IF made substitutions. Norrby IF tried to apply pressure, but it was Örgryte IS who scored next. Emil Ahdrian found the net after a nice pass from Johan Pettersson. Norrby IF’s Mohammed Omeirat pulled one back to make it 3-1 in the 80th minute, but it wasn’t enough to threaten Örgryte IS’s lead.

The match ended 3-1 in favor of Örgryte IS in front of 1,704 spectators at Gamla Ullevi, with referee Andreas Jönsson blowing the whistle after an exciting match.
