IK Oddevold took an early lead in the match at Rimnersvallen when Johan Patriksson scored two quick goals within five minutes. Karlstad BK worked hard and managed to reduce the deficit to 2-1 early in the second half through Victor Irineu de Souza.

However, it was Johan Patriksson who was the star of the evening, and when he completed his hat trick with his third goal in the 62nd minute, it seemed like the game was settled in favor of IK Oddevold.

Karlstad BK, however, did not give up, and Mathias Wahl reduced the score to 3-2 in the 84th minute, giving the team one last chance to chase an equalizer. Despite several dangerous opportunities, they were unable to find the net, and the match ended 3-2 in favor of IK Oddevold.

With the support of the crowd and an impressive performance from Johan Patriksson, IK Oddevold secured three important points in Division 1 Södra, men's. Despite the loss, Karlstad BK received praise for their fighting spirit and efforts to get back into the match.
