The match started at Klostergården's IP with high intensity and already after 1 minute the home team took the lead through a fine finish by Stefan Ilic. IF Sylvia responded quickly and Markus Hansson equalized to 1-1 after 11 minutes of play.

Lunds BK increased the tempo and Dardan Mustafa scored both the 2-1 and 3-1 goals before the half-time break. At the beginning of the second half, Fritiof Björkén extended the lead to 4-1.
