Örgryte IS won a dominating victory against IS Halmia at Gamla Ullevi, with a final score of 5 - 1 after a fantastic performance. Örgryte IS, who were in 2nd place in the table before the match, were completely superior in the first half and took the lead in the 20th minute when William Atashkadeh headed the ball into the net. They continued to dominate, and in the 30th minute it was Daniel Paulson who scored to extend the lead to 2 - 0. Just 5 minutes later, Paulson struck again, and Örgryte took a solid 3 - 0 lead.

However, IS Halmia did not want to give up and made a substitution at halftime, bringing in Liridon Selmani for Jonas Lindh. This proved to be a good move as Selmani scored his team's first goal just 2 minutes into the second half.

Örgryte IS responded quickly, and 10 minutes later Atashkadeh scored his second goal of the match, increasing the home team's lead to 4 - 1. Örgryte continued to push forward, and IS Halmia struggled to keep up. After a corner in the 70th minute, Atashkadeh netted his third goal, completing his hat trick.

IS Halmia tried to mount pressure and made several substitutions, but it didn’t help. Instead, several of their players received yellow cards as they attempted to keep pace with an incredible Örgryte team. Örgryte also made several substitutions at the end of the match to maintain their advantage and defend their lead.

Thus, Örgryte IS secured an incredibly convincing 5 - 1 victory, showing great potential for the remaining matches in Division 1 Södra. IS Halmia fought hard, but it was clear that they were outclassed by the Örgryte team. Referee Björn Särnbrink and his two assistant referees officiated the match excellently, making it a fantastic day for football at Gamla Ullevi.
