Trelleborgs FF once again demonstrated why they lead Division 1 Södra when they faced Eskilsminne IF at Olympia in Helsingborg. The crowd of 1,500 held their breath as the match began, and it didn't take long before Victor Wahlgren of Eskilsminne received his first warning. It was a chance for Trelleborgs to exploit a defensive error, and Zoran Jovanovic took advantage, putting Trelleborgs FF ahead 1-0 in the 43rd minute.

However, Eskilsminne IF was not ready to give up and quickly fought back as Emil Åberg equalized just two minutes into the second half.
