Östers IF were clear favorites at home when they faced Utsiktens BK at Visma Arena in Växjö, in front of an audience of 1,483 spectators. The table standings also showed a significant difference between the teams, with Östers IF in second place and Utsiktens BK in seventh.
The match started off fairly evenly, with both teams trying to find their footing. After just over half an hour, the first yellow card was issued to Östers' Fritiof Björkén. A few minutes later, Utsiktens' Anders Mogren also received a yellow card following an eventful situation in the penalty area.
In the second half, the match continued at the same pace. After 66 minutes, the next yellow card was given to Östers' Jonathan Drott. Utsiktens tried to find a gap in Östers' defense, but it just wouldn’t come together for them. Instead, it was Östers who scored the only goal of the match when Mario Vasilj headed the ball in from a corner in the 88th minute.
The match also had a slightly dramatic ending when Östers' Isaac Shaze received a yellow card in the 89th minute. However, Östers managed to hold on, and the match ended 1-0 in favor of the home team.
