Landskrona BoIS faced Assyriska BK at home in front of a packed stadium with over 2,000 football enthusiasts in attendance. The match started evenly, but it was the home team that took control and had several dangerous chances within the first 15 minutes.

After a quarter of an hour, it was time for the first substitution, and Landskrona BoIS brought in Philip Ljung, while Viktor Svensson went out. Assyriska BK also made a substitution, with Joakim Olausson replaced by Chadly Maduka.

After half an hour of play, Landskrona BoIS surged forward and scored their first goal through Thierry Zahui, who netted from a free kick. Assyriska BK fought to regain control of the match and substituted Rany Younan in place of Visar Selimi, but things did not go their way.
