A team from southern Sweden met on a brilliant Sunday afternoon as Landskrona BoIS hosted Mjällby AIF at Landskrona IP A-field. The audience began gathering early, and when referee Mirza Kazic blew the whistle to kick off the match shortly after 4:00 PM, there were no less than 2,986 spectators present.

The match started evenly with several dangerous chances for both teams. Landskrona BoIS was the team that had more possession, but they struggled to convert their chances into goals. The first event of the match was a yellow card for Mjällby AIF's Emmanuel Ayaah Okine in the 80th minute. Landskrona BoIS responded by receiving a yellow card for Filip Pivkovski in the 26th minute.

Landskrona BoIS brought in Philip Ljung to strengthen the team in the second half. However, the teams continued to battle for control of the ball, and it remained a tight match. Oskar Sverrisson for Mjällby AIF received a yellow card in the 60th minute, and it was time for a substitution for Mjällby AIF. Mirza Halvadzic stepped onto the field, and Joel Enarsson came off.

After a period of observation on the field from both teams, Landskrona BoIS finally managed to score a goal in the 75th minute with Sadat Karim making a clinical finish to put them ahead 1-0. However, Karim had the opportunity to make it 2-0 from the penalty spot after being fouled by the defense, but he missed the chance when the penalty was saved.

In the 86th minute, Landskrona BoIS made a defensive mistake, allowing Mjällby AIF to equalize with a quick counterattack. Axel Andersson was the man who completed the play and scored to make it 1-1 for Mjällby AIF. With only a few minutes left in the match, Mjällby AIF made another substitution when Daniel Ivanovski entered the field as a fresh force, taking over from David Löfquist.

The match ended 1-1, and both teams took away one point. Mjällby AIF is currently in sixth place in Division 1 Södra for men, while Landskrona BoIS holds a silver medal in second place in the standings.
