Mjällby AIF and Utsiktens BK met at Strandvallen A-plan in front of 2,722 spectators on Saturday afternoon. Both teams looked forward to the match as it was a top match between two of the best teams in Division 1 Södra. At the start of the match, Utsiktens BK was in second place while Mjällby AIF was in third place in the table.

The match started off tough, and in the 21st minute, David Löfquist from Mjällby AIF received a warning from referee Mohamed Nablsi for a hard tackle. Utsiktens BK's Niklas Olsson received his first warning in the 32nd minute.

In the 34th minute, Mjällby AIF broke through Utsiktens BK's defense, and Oskar Sverrisson scored with a header, making it 1-0. Utsiktens BK tried to get back into the game and made a substitution at halftime, bringing in George Mourad for Marius Evensen.

In the 49th minute, Utsiktens BK's Robert Lipovac received a yellow card from the referee. Just three minutes later, Mjällby AIF's Granit Stagova scored the second goal for the home team, making it 2-0. In the 60th minute, Mjällby AIF was awarded a penalty, which Oskar Sverrisson converted confidently, netting his second goal of the day.

Shortly after that, Mjällby AIF substituted Granit Stagova for Joel Nilsson, while Utsiktens BK replaced Robert Lipovac with Anders Mogren. In the 69th minute, Joel Nilsson made it 4-0 for Mjällby AIF.

Mjällby AIF brought in Joel Enarsson for Mirza Halvadzic, and this substitution proved to be a success. Enarsson scored two goals in the closing stages of the match, the first in the 82nd minute and the second in the second minute of stoppage time. Mjällby AIF won the match with a convincing 6-0 victory.
