Landskrona BoIS ended the season in the best possible way by defeating FK Karlskrona 2-0 at home in front of an enthusiastic crowd of over 4,000 people at Landskrona IP A-plan on Saturday afternoon. BoIS hoped to maintain the top position in the table and had applied intense pressure from the start of the match.
It didn't take long for the home team to score their first goal, with Nickmål pushing the ball into the net after a nice cross from Sadat Karim. BoIS kept the pressure on the Karlskrona defenders for the rest of the first half and were rewarded with their second goal after 31 minutes, courtesy of Edafe Egbedi, who curled the ball into the net from the right side.
Karlskrona attempted to respond with several attacks, but their efforts were thwarted by BoIS's defenders. In the second half, FKK substituted Rasmus Holgersson for Anton Dahlström, who had failed to find the BoIS net.
BoIS controlled the match, dominating possession and shot statistics, keeping Karlskrona at bay throughout the game with the help of their skilled defenders, including Igor Arsenijevic, who received a yellow card as the match drew to a close.
Landskrona then substituted in Dino Mesic, who replaced goalscorer Sadat Karim, and Saber Azizi, who took over from Edafe Egbedi just before the final whistle. Adam Larsson wanted more goals but failed to breach the BoIS defense again. The match ended 2-0 in favor of Landskrona BoIS, securing their top position in Division 1 Södra, while FK Karlskrona finished sixth in the same table.
