It was an exciting match at Kopparvallen when Åtvidabergs FF hosted Lunds BK. The teams entered the match with several points between them, but it was the guests from Lund who started the strongest. After twelve minutes, Stefan Arnshed scored the opening goal for Lunds BK, and it seemed as though the guests would continue to dominate the match. However, the home team proved to be a tough opponent, and just fifteen minutes later, Åtvidabergs FF equalized with a nice shot from Pontus Fredriksson.

After the halftime break, which involved a substitution for the visiting team, Åtvidabergs FF came to life in earnest. A wonderful attack after just under an hour of play resulted in Alem Plakalo putting the ball in the net and giving the home team the lead. Lunds BK tried to push forward to catch up, but Åtvidabergs FF held strong defensively and even managed to extend their lead with a penalty kick, which Dardan Mustafa coolly converted after 75 minutes.

The final minutes of the match saw several substitutions as the teams attempted to change the course of the game. But it was Åtvidabergs FF that would win the match, even though a few yellow cards were issued to both teams towards the end. The result of 3 - 1 allowed Åtvidabergs FF to rise one position in the table, while Lunds BK remained in their spot. The match showed that Åtvidabergs FF has something going for them when it comes to climbing up the table.
