Match in Division 1 Södra, men 2018
Match start: 2018-09-23 at 15:00
Venue: Strandvallen A-plan

Mjällby AIF faced Husqvarna FF in a display of dominance and offensive strength. The home team immediately showed their desire to secure the victory, opening the scoring with Jesper Löfgren in the 18th minute. Just eight minutes later, Jacob Bergström extended the lead to 2-0, and it was evident that Husqvarna FF had a tough afternoon ahead.
Prosper Kasim drove the final nail into Husqvarna's chances by making it 3-0 at the start of the second half. A consolation goal from Ryan Luke Lindevall Binns from a penalty could not disturb Mjällby’s dominance, especially not with Taylor Silverholt's conceded goal in the 82nd minute.
Mjällby continued to press on, and Bubacarr Jobe’s lovely goal in the 87th minute sealed the match at 5-1 for the dominant home side. The result means that Mjällby leads Division 1 South, while Husqvarna FF continues to struggle at the bottom of the table. It was a tough match for the visiting team, but it was a wonderful match experience for the 1,227 spectators who made their way to Strandvallen on that Sunday afternoon.
