On Sunday afternoon, IK Oddevold and Mjällby AIF met at Rimnersvallen in an important match in Division 1 Södra. In front of a crowd of 325, it was Mjällby AIF that took the lead after 16 minutes when Prosper Kasim received a nice pass and easily placed the ball past IK Oddevold's goalkeeper.

IK Oddevold tried to create chances but struggled to get past Mjällby's defense. Just before half-time, Mjällby increased their lead when Bubacarr Jobe scored on a rebound from the goalkeeper. Before the referee blew for half-time, Robin Gustafsson received a yellow card for IK Oddevold.

In the second half, Oddevold fought hard, and just two minutes in, Fuad Hyseni reduced the deficit after a fine pass from Johan Patriksson. Despite several chances for both teams during the remainder of the match, neither team was able to score again.

IK Oddevold desperately tried to get the equalizer, but they were often caught in the offside trap set by Mjällby's defense. The match concluded with two additional yellow cards, one for IK Oddevold and two for Mjällby AIF.

The match ended 1-2, and Mjällby AIF continues to top the table while IK Oddevold finds themselves in ninth place. Referee Andreas Dufva-Johansson and assistant referees Mattias Hedman Lilja and Toni Galic officiated well.
