The match between Enskede IK and IFK Lidingö FK started on Sunday afternoon at Enskede IP 2 in front of an audience of zero. Referee Ulrica Löv was assisted by Rickard Karlsson and Johnny Bojestig.
Enskede IK took the lead in the match just eleven minutes into play when Ejla Nyman found the net, putting the ball past the goalkeeper of IFK Lidingö FK. Enskede IK then had the chance to extend their lead when Patricia Kaldoyo received a yellow card after 17 minutes.
However, IFK Lidingö FK managed to equalize the match through Elin Flyborg after 18 minutes, when they were awarded a penalty, which Flyborg converted in the best possible way. The second half began with a yellow card for IFK Lidingö FK’s Rosa Dilovanî after 46 minutes of play.
It was, however, IFK Lidingö FK who would emerge victorious from the match, as Daniela Broström scored to make it 2-1 for the visiting team in the 61st minute. Despite several substitutions from both teams, neither was able to score again, and the match ended with a victory for IFK Lidingö FK by 2-1.
A closely contested match where both teams fought hard, but it was IFK Lidingö FK who could ultimately take three points home from Enskede IK’s home ground.
